Wednesday, November 4, 2026 | 7:00–8:00 PM ET Location: Japan-America Society of Georgia (JASG) Office Participation Fee: $5 per person
Join JASG for a special nationwide hybrid event celebrating one of Japan’s most beloved comfort foods: onigiri (Japanese rice balls)!
Participants will gather at local host locations across the country and connect with Table For Two and other participating locations through Zoom. A Table For Two instructor will introduce the history and culture of rice and onigiri, share information about the Onigiri Action campaign, and lead an interactive onigiri-making session.
Make your own flight of three onigiri featuring these classic Japanese flavors!
You’ll also get creative by decorating your onigiri with nori (seaweed) punches and scissors!
Most ingredients and supplies will be provided by Table For Two. The $5 participation fee helps cover additional materials and JASG’s event coordination costs.
Come learn about Japanese food culture, connect with participants nationwide, and enjoy making and decorating your own delicious onigiri!
