"Shaping the Future with Partnership, Innovation, and Growth"
Registration is now open for the 47th Annual Joint Meeting of the Southeast U.S./Japan and Japan – U.S. Southeast Associations, October 28-29, at the New Otani Hotel in Tokyo. This prestigious gathering celebrates Georgia’s longstanding business and diplomatic partnership and offers delegates unparalleled networking opportunities with business leaders from one of Georgia’s largest trade and investment partners.
Program details are available on the events page. The delegate fee of $600.00 per person includes a State Reception on October 28 and full conference access October 28-29. Please contact Chief Administrative Officer Mary Waters for more information.
Following the conference, we are exploring the opportunity to organize a group visit to Fukuoka from October 30 to November 1. The visit may include meetings with the Fukuoka Mayor’s Office, City Council, and key business contacts in the region.
Earlier this year, several groups from Fukuoka visited Atlanta to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the sister city relationship between Atlanta and Fukuoka. A reciprocal visit would be a meaningful way to commemorate this milestone and further strengthen Georgia’s ties with Japan.
While the detailed agenda and schedule are still being finalized, we would like to gauge interest from Georgia delegates who may wish to participate. If you’d like to learn more and be considered for the group visit, please complete the short interest form below:

We look forward to the possibility of deepening our connections with Fukuoka and continuing the spirit of collaboration fostered through SEUS-Japan.
