  1. Confirm your attendance at the William Root House for tour, and the names of any guests. Guests/JASG members can pay $5.00 cash at the William Root House.
  2. Confirm which lunch option you have selected.


DIRECTIONS TO THE WILLIAM ROOT HOUSE

From Buckhead on I-75 North: Take Exit 265, GA-120 Alt toward Tourist Information, Historic Marietta. Drive about ½ mile, then turn left onto North Marietta Parkway, GA-120 Alt. Drive about 2.23 miles.

PARKING

There are several options for parking:

  1. There is limited free parking at the William Root House, but it is only for two hours.  If you are not attending lunch, you can park here. If you are attending lunch and park here, you will have to move your car.
  2. A short distance from the William Root House, at 68 North Marietta Parkway, is The Marietta Square Market, which is a food court.  It has free two-hour parking, strictly enforced. If you park here to see The William Root House and plan to stay for lunch, you will have to move your car to another parking area.
  3. Just next to the parking area for The Marietta Square Market, is a paid parking lot that costs $5.00 for the entire day. Turn into Mill Street to access this parking area. It is a short walk to the William House along North Marietta Parkway or through the parking lot.
  4. There is free two-hour parking around Marietta Square, strictly enforced.
